Our Story
Elizabeth and Igor were introduced in North Beach San Francisco by a mutual acquaintance outside of a lively jazz club. Over the following months they exchanged messages when Elizabeth decided to invite Igor on a boat ride in the San Francisco Bay for New Year's Eve. Igor and Elizabeth developed a close friendship and Elizabeth particularly enjoyed the calming presence Igor had in her life and Igor found that Elizabeth's adventurous spirit was exactly what he had been looking for in a companion. It was not long before they were in constant communication and plotting their next exploit.
Though Elizabeth moved to Miami for some months during the pandemic, she invited Igor to her birthday party on Key West, FL to which he immediately accepted and came to see her. When Elizabeth's childhood friend conveniently missed his flight, Elizabeth and Igor waited several hours alone on Key Biscayne
enjoying a brunch filled with champagne and laughter followed by a swim. After swimming a ways from shore, a storm started to brew accompanied with a strong tide that was rapidly pushing them farther and farther away from the bank. Igor, seeing that Elizabeth was panicking, kept strong behind her pushing her to the direction of the seashore with all his might for the better part of an hour. Greeted by a crowd of worried onlookers, Elizabeth and Igor made it back to shore, completely exhausted but grateful they had survived together.
The whirlwind Florida birthday trip was to become the embers of the giant, burning fire that is their love for one another. After Elizabeth moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area, they eagerly began their beautiful relationship, never having looked back. They both welcome you to witness their holy matrimony as they take the next step to become husband and wife.
